How did Skanda find himself at TRAction?

Before joining TRAction, Skanda was part of the Global Markets and Billing Operations team at State Street, handling financial management infrastructure.

After gaining valuable experience Skanda wanted to challenge himself further, to expand his knowledge, develop new skills, and take on greater responsibilities, leading him to his current role at TRAction.

Skanda’s responsibilities in his role…

Skanda’s role as a Trade Reporting Officer involves supporting TRAction clients with the processing and submitting of trade files to LSEG on their behalf. He helps ensure that all trades are reported accurately and within the required timelines, investigating exceptions and resolving issues before it makes its way back to clients.

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Skanda’s role?

“Everyday at TRAction is a learning opportunity,” Skanda shares. He explains how his role continually exposes him to new scenarios, regulatory requirements, and problem-solving opportunities that he enjoys, allowing him to fully step into new challenges and grow his skills.

“I would love to visit Paris because of its world-renowned cuisine, rich culture, and incredible art.”

Skanda shares that the thought of experiencing the museums and historic landmarks that Paris has to offer an exciting opportunity that he would love to explore.

Fun facts about Skanda and his hobbies

Skanda loves playing pickleball! He shares that he plays it twice a week for the social aspect of the game and loves the opportunity to improve his skill. “It’s been a great way to stay active, unwind, and relax after work,” Skanda explains.
