How did Venkatesh find himself at TRAction?
Before joining TRAction, Venkatesh built his career across leading global investment banks and later at global hedge fund, working across a range of roles including Business Analyst and Product Owner.
Venkatesh explains “In past organisations, I worked in various different roles including Business Analyst and Product Owner, where I built trade and transaction reporting systems and controls for cross G20 regulations such as CFTC, CSA, SEC, EMIR, HKMA, JFSA, ASIC and MAS.”
With this extensive background, joining TRAction was a natural next step, allowing him to apply his deep regulatory reporting expertise in a client-focused environment.
Venkatesh’s responsibilities in his role…
As an Onboarding Officer, Venkatesh is responsible for analysing and transforming client data into logic before it is sent to the processing and development teams.
“I work with trading platforms in the market, helping to build streamlined acquisition pipelines for our clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services and the successful reporting to their dedicated trade repositories through TRAction.”
What are the most enjoyable aspects of Venkatesh’s role?
The most enjoyable aspects of his role are “Speaking with clients to understand their business models and the different type of products in which they trade.”
Venkatesh also adds, “Providing solutions and building simplified ways to aid these clients with their complex reporting issues is very rewarding.”

Outside the office Venkatesh loves to play cricket. He explains, “I enjoy a good game of cricket for both my physical health but it is also good social fun!” He also enjoys gardening and spending time in nature.
