How did Georgios find himself at TRAction?
Prior to working at TRAction, Georgios was working for Amazon UK as a Process Optimisation Analyst in Operations. He describes that his responsibilities were to “analyse data from all Fulfilment centers in the UK, EU and AU, and advise the senior operations managers and the general managers on how they can streamline their operations, and increase the profitability of their site.“
Georgios explains, “I always wanted to move to the financial sector, which is why after 2 years working in operations as an analyst, I decided to start applying for other positions. I was also considering an MBA to make my transition smoother. Luckily, I got an offer from TRAction to start as a trade reporting officer. I happily accepted the position because trade reporting was one of the sectors that drew my attention, and I believe it is one of the most promising sectors for future career development.”
Georgios’ responsibilities in his role…
As an Onboarding Officer, Georgios aims to make sure that all clients are satisfied with TRAction’s services from the outset.
“We are the department that connects the client with the development and processing teams. We make sure the client’s files are reviewed accurately, and then we create the logic that our development team will code. We’re also responsible for ensuring that the automations are functioning according to that logic before handing the client over to the processing stage.”

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Georgios’ role?
Georgios describes the most enjoyable aspects of his role as “being able to assist clients on a daily basis.” He also enjoys “investigating why we get exceptions and script errors and fixing the issues in cooperation with the developers.”
He adds, “I really enjoy a good challenge, and there are a lot of them in the onboarding team.”

Fun facts about Georgios and his hobbies
Georgios mentions that he love travelling to different countries, and says, “you can usually find me swimming or going for walks.”
He also mentions a developing interest in wines and winemaking, adding, “by the end of 2026 I am planning to complete level 2 sommelier certification and spring 2026 will be the first year that I will be producing wine with a friend of mine. Let’s see how that goes!“
