How did Asmi find herself at TRAction?
Asmi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking at the University of Sydney. Before joining TRAction, Asmi spent over three years working in the events industry. Having always been passionate about the financial sector, Asmi was eager to transition into a finance-focused role after graduating. When an opportunity at TRAction became available, she saw it as the perfect entry into the world of regtech, combining her interest in finance with the dynamic, evolving fields of technology and compliance.

Asmi explains, “My role is all about keeping things running smoothly. I help to ensure that trades are processed and reported accurately each day, while also helping clients resolve any issues that come up along the way.”

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Asmi’s role?
Asmi enjoys investigating and resolving client issues. She shares, “Especially when it involves digging deep to find the root cause.” Asmi finds her role rewarding because she gets to connect all the dots and deliver a clear solution that helps clients move forward smoothly.
She adds, “There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of solving a tricky problem and seeing everything fall into place.”

Asmi is on a mission to cross off countries one at a time. She highlights “From climbing Everest to skiing the Alps or drifting in a gondola in Venice, I’m up for anything that’s adventurous, slightly ridiculous, or just plain fun”.
