How did Nicole find herself at TRAction?

Before joining TRAction, Nicole worked for a media agency as a Social Media Analyst, where she managed social media performance analysis and reporting for major US entertainment clients such as Disney and Warner Brothers. After gaining some analytical experience in the marketing industry, Nicole wanted to transition into a more data-focused and technically challenging role.

Nicole’s responsibilities in her role…

“In my role, I investigate client data to identify any issues or inconsistencies, and process this data using our SQL scripts. I also use this to investigate data volumes and monitor for any significant changes.”

She adds, “When problems arise, I troubleshoot and find solutions, ensuring that client data remains accurate and compliant. Additionally, I assist clients with any reporting queries they may have, helping them better understand and manage their data.”

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Nicole’s role?

Nicole explains “I’ve really enjoyed learning about the RegTech industry and financial markets, it’s a completely new area for me, coming from a marketing background in my studies and previous jobs. I also get to work extensively with SQL, which is a skill I’ve wanted to develop for a long time.”

If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Nicole would…

Love to visit Bhutan. Nicole elaborates, “It’s known for its meditation retreats, focus on happiness and wellbeing, and strong commitment to environmental sustainability.”
