More about Quinn...
If we had to describe Quinn in a few words, we would say he is:
- inquisitive;
- passionate; and
- optimistic.
What prompted you to start TRAction with Sophie?
“Right place, right time, right people” says Quinn. He goes onto explain, “I think Sophie and I had a really unique skillset across compliance, technology and finance that was required for the task. We had also worked well together in the past.”
What specific task do you like best at TRAction as a boss?
“Teaching staff and clients new skills and passing on my knowledge” and we, in the TRAction team, can happily vouch for Quinn’s love of teaching.
Away from the office…
Most of Quinn’s time is spent getting outside when he’s not in the office. He elaborates, “water sports on the weekend. I also love to garden, mostly vegetables but recently I’ve been growing some lovely Petunias.”
If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Quinn would…
“Antarctica”, Quinn declares. What attracts him to this very cold destination is that it would be the most different from any place he’s experienced before. He also adds, “it would be peaceful with no mobile reception” and we’d have to agree with him on this one.
Fun facts about Quinn…
Quinn is actually a third generation qualified beekeeper and he grew up on a bona fide hippy commune.
To wrap up, what is Quinn’s favourite quote and/or advice?
A quote from the renowned Confucius, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
