Meet The Team: Nikhil

Meet Nikhil

In this week’s Meet the Team Series instalment we bring you one of our Developers…

Nikhil Jain!

If we had to describe Nikhil in a few words, we would say he is:

  • Kind
  • Adaptable
  • Fun-loving

How did Nikhil find himself at TRAction?

Nikhil was interested in working at TRAction as he had heard good things about the company from one of his friends. “When I heard about the job opening, I felt it would be a great opportunity to grow my knowledge in finance while upskilling as a web and software developer” he explains.

Some of Nikhil’s responsibilities…

Nikhil mainly works on improving TRAction’s current systems, the company website and the BestEx portal.

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Nikhil’s role?

The people working at TRAction are skilled and determined in what they do, learning from them is super enjoyable. I like that my role is flexible, one day I am working on the website, and the next day I am writing code to improve current systems” Nikhil tells us.

Away from the office…

Nikhil likes to keep busy outside of the office, “I like to relax by listening to good music, spending time with my family, or watching a sitcom. During the weekend, I am usually out early in the morning, playing cricket with my buddies, or heading out on a bike ride to a scenic place far from my city.”

If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Nikhil would…

Visit the Nordic countries! He tells us he would love to visit to “explore their trendy cities and surreal landscapes.

To wrap up, what is Nikhil’s favourite quote and/or advice?

Nikhil’s quote is one he says helps keep him motivated, “The best view comes after the hardest climb.”
