How did Kaushal find himself at TRAction?
Kaushal started off as a data-science intern at DataNeuron. During this time he saw posts relating to ASIC reporting from TRAction’s LinkedIn which sparked his interest in trade reporting and motivated him to deepen his understanding of the field. He later applied to TRAction through a mutual connection.
Kaushal’s responsibilities in his role…
Starting off as a Trade Reporting Officer, Kaushal focused on processing and submitting client files to DTCC each day, ensuring client trades were reported accurately and efficiently. He proactively identified missing information and worked closely with clients to resolve any issues.
Recently, Kaushal has moved into the support team where he is more directly involved with clients to solve queries and update any information they need to help resolve their issues or connects them to the right people in TRAction.
What are the most enjoyable aspects of Kaushal’s role?
“There is not any time of the day where there is nothing to do,” Kaushal says. “You are always on your feet making sure trade reporting deadlines are met while also responding to the clients swiftly.” He also shares that the role has significantly improved his attention to detail over time.

“The highlight of working at TRAction Fintech will always be the global team meeting we have every week as we get to learn more about our own team and connect during the meeting.”
If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Kaushal would…
“I have travelled across a lot of countries however, the three places I’d really love to visit are Japan, Kenya and Nicaragua, because of the infrastructural and natural beauty these countries have.”

Outside of work, Kaushal loves to watch sports and movies, and spends his free time playing chess, video games, and football.

“To me, it means that no matter what challenges or obstacles life throws at you, don’t let them overwhelm you,” he explains. “Instead, break them down, deal with them calmly, and keep moving forward. Everything that happens is simply a part of life’s journey.”
