How did Martin find himself at TRAction?
Before joining TRAction, Martin was working in China for Pinpoint, who was entering the Chinese market for credit card reward points. He says “I was looking for a new challenge with a small company with potential – and I certainly found that.”
Martin’s responsibilities in his role…
During his time at TRAction, Martin has had many different roles. He tells us, “originally, I created the processing system.”
Since then, Martin has overseen the development and maintenance of our system and the processing of client data. Currently, he is involved with onboarding new clients.

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Martin’s role?
Martin enjoys the challenge of matching the client’s needs to the requirements of the regulators, and ensuring our system continues to be capable of meeting this target.
“We have had so many different clients.. this continues to invigorate my creative juces.” He adds, “and yes – programmers can be creative.”
If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Martin would…
“Stay at home and spend time with my family,” Martin says, then adds, “or maybe I’d take them to Japan and watch some Sumo wrestling while they go shopping.”

Fun facts about Martin and his hobbies
“I’m mostly a homebody these days, spending most of my leisure time gaming,” Martin shares.
He continues, “a fun fact – some of the subjects I have studied since high school include computing, maths, electronics, economics, biology, psychology, history, philosophy and real estate.”
