How did Melina find herself at TRAction?
Before joining TRAction, Melina was working as Head of Compliance at a CIF (Cyprus Investment Firm) for 7 years, and then held the position of Executive Director for another 2 years. Melina recalls, “when I decided to leave the forex industry, I met a classmate of mine by chance at a kid’s birthday party. That’s where I got lucky, since I met his wife who happened to be working at TRAction and informed me about a recently opened legal position within the TRAction.”

At TRAction, Melina works as a Legal and Group Operations Assistant, where she handles a mix of legal and operational tasks within the Company.
She says, “I assist our clients with legal documentation, contract negotiations, and responses to due diligence inquiries.” She adds, “I also provide support on various legal issues, ensuring clarity and compliance in all aspects of their business.”

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Melina’s role?
Melina finds that she enjoys “roles that involve multiple areas, especially those that blend legal work with HR and company organization matters.” She shares, “It’s a dynamic position that keeps me engaged and allows me to contribute to various aspects of the organisation.”

“I would like to visit Maldives and Australia.”

Fun facts about Melina…
Outside of the office, Melina says that she enjoys stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) during the summer, going to the gym, and playing the guitar.
She also mentions, “I have a passion for designing and drawing clothes for my clothing brand, Cienne. Additionally, I cherish spending time with my daughter, particularly when cooking together or roller skating.”
