- funny
- dedicated
- loyal
How did Tom find himself at TRAction?
Tom studied finance at university which enabled him to cover a large scope of topics and effectively equipped him to enter the world of financial services.
Tom explains, “I enjoyed working in Regulatory Reporting in my previous role, so I wanted to continue that here at TRAction. I was excited to join a small close-knit team in London and be given the chance to develop my skill set when taking on a variety of responsibilities.”
We are chuffed to have Tom in our London team.
Some of Tom’s responsibilities…
Tom has the important role of ensuring all transaction reporting for our European clients, covering EMIR, STFR and MiFIR, is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
What are the most enjoyable aspects of Tom’s role?
“TRAction has a big presence globally and I’m excited to be part of that. I enjoy the fast-paced nature of the role that comes as a result of the company’s continuous growth”, says Tom.
He adds, “The work environment is great too, and I’ve always believed there is no point working somewhere if you don’t have supportive colleagues.” – a delight for us in the TRAction team to hear.
Away from the office…
Tom finds himself participating in sport-related activities when out of the office. Particularly, golf with his mates on the weekend or watching his local football team, Arsenal, play.
If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Tom would…
Simply put, “Las Vegas for sure!”, says Tom.
Fun facts about Tom…
Tom loves chicken and as the well-rounded Englishman that Tom is, he also claims he can make a “cracking cup of tea!!!”
To wrap up, what is Tom’s favourite quote and/or advice?
Tom provides a quote we’re sure many of our mothers would be pleased with, “invest in your shoes and your sheets because if you’re not in one, you’re in other”.
