For a second year in a row, TRAction Fintech has been named as a finalist in FinTech Australia ’s 2018 Finnie Awards . TRAction Fintech has been shortlisted in two categories; Excellence in Regtech and Excellence in Establishing Market Presence: Global. Our co-founder and Director, Sophie Gerber, has also been shortlisted for the Female FinTech Leader of the Year.

The Finnie Awards are FinTech Australia’s national fintech awards identifying outstanding players in the industry who demonstrate long term vision in building and financing sustainable business growth.
The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 13 June 2018 at The Den, Ivy. Members of the TRAction Fintech team will be there to celebrate and would love to see some friendly faces there in support.
Sophie has worked with some of Australia’s largest financial services organisations in compliance, legal and operational roles. She has also worked with small businesses to provide tailored solutions with a strong understanding of business practicalities as well as obligations to regulators. This strong understanding allows Sophie to effectively engage with not only large financial organisations but also with small businesses. Sophie has an in depth knowledge of compliance and legal obligations for financial services businesses having vast experience in the financial services sector. Sophie continually works with a range of companies in the financial services industry, including OTC derivatives brokers.
