Mayank Kumar!

If we had to describe Mayank in a few words, we would say he is:

  • Ambitious
  • Adaptable
  • Easy-going

How did Mayank find himself at TRAction?

Mayank was interested in working at TRAction as he “saw an opportunity to be able to gain experience as a software developer and it was also an opportunity for me to get an understanding of how a fintech company operates” he explains.

Some of Mayank’s responsibilities…

At TRAction, Mayank helps to ensure that trade reporting for clients is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements via the maintenance, development, and improvement of data extraction and processing procedures.

What are the most enjoyable aspects of Mayank’s role?

Getting to learn more about coding and regulatory reporting. Since my role is interconnected with all the other roles in the company, I also get a better understanding of how the other roles function,” says Mayank.

Away from the office…

Mayank keeps himself busy outside of the office with a lot of different hobbies, “I like to play chess, table tennis, soccer or swim in my free time and hangout with my friends on weekends.”

If given the opportunity to go anywhere in the world, Mayank would…

If I could go anywhere, I would probably go to Greenland because I want to see the northern lights and it is a very beautiful place as well” Mayank tells us.

Fun facts about Mayank…

“I am very interested in yoyos and rubix cubes. I am very quick in solving the 2X2 and 3X3 and have bought a 4X4 to learn how to solve it,says Mayank.

Mayank’s quote is from the philosopher Henry David Thoreau, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined.”
